The flower white calla lily, scientific name Zantedeschia aethiopica is considered an ornamental flower and much used in decoration. Originally from South Africa and can be found naturally by the lakeside, it is quite adaptable to the tropical climate, enjoying slightly lower temperatures, withstand a cold of 4ºC. As this is a toxic flower, it should be kept in a place out of the reach of children and animals. Planting can be done on common soil mixed with organic matter, the soil must be always moist but not soaked, imitating the conditions found near lakes and rivers.
