The white tail of a Humpback whale can be seen emerging from the tropical Pacific waters near Nuqui, in the Choco region of Colombia. Every year these whales meet in the shallow bays of Utria National Park to have their babies and prepare for the migration south. Individual whales can be tracked and monitored by the unique color patterns of their tails.
