| The Western Pond Turtle, or Pacific Pond Turtle is native to the western coast of the Americas, down to Northern Mexico and up into British Columbia. The two biggest threats to the pieces is the loss of habitat, and the introduction of the Red-eared slider turtle, the most common pet turtle in America, and around the world.
The juveniles are carnivores while the adults are omnivorous. |
