Wenigemarkt is a small marketplace in the old town of Erfurt. It is located at the eastern end of the Krämerbrücke. The Wenigemarkt first appeared in a document in 1217. However, a trading place probably existed here since the 11th century. Initially, the square was a market of the merchants` settlement east of the Gera. It received its name in distinction to Domplatz. July 8th, 2021
