The three ladies were popular early Christian martyrs. The right panel contains Sebastian and Maurice. The altarpiece is located in the Cloisters in Fort Tyrone Park in Washington Heights, Manhattan, New York City. Governed by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Cloisters specializes in medieval art and architecture with a focus on Romanesque and Gothic periods.
