The Bâlea Lake is a glacier lake situated at 2,034 m of altitude in the FÃÆgÃÆraÃ
Ÿ Mountains, in central Romania, in Sibiu County. There are two chalets opened all the year round, a meteorological station and a mountain rescue station. It is accessible by car on the TransfÃÆgÃÆrÃÆÃ
Ÿan road during the summer, and the rest of the year by a cable car from the Bâlea Waterfall chalet. Partia Balea Lac is one of the most popular ski slopes in Romania by professionals and those who love extreme sports. Snow is present in November / December to July and has a very good quality for carrying skiââ¬â¢s.This dreamy landscape is spectacular and the traditional cabin on the lake is wonderful.
