Waterfall The Tufa Dam on The Lathkill River, Lathkill Dale, Derbyshire. Lathkill Dale is a very popular destination in the peak district, for walking, trout fishing, Natural History and Industrial History. The Lathkill River is a triut river that runs entirely over lime stone and has particularly clear waters. Most of the industrial remains in the area are from lead mining. The walk along Lathkill Dale from Youlgreave upto its source is particularly beautiful.
