| Bridal Veil Falls (MÃÂori Waireinga) is a plunge waterfall located along the Pakoka River in the Waikato / Raglan area of New Zealand. The waterfall is 55 metres high (181 feet). Over millennia, the sandstone where the waterfall is located bas worn down, leaving the spectacular hard basalt cliff behind. The water cascades from this cliff, and further erodes the sandstone at the base, which created the small, deep, round pool.ÃÂ |
