Ruddy Turnstone Arenaria interpres. A stocky bird of rocky and stony shores, with a short, wedge-shaped bill and bright orange legs. It nests on tundra shores and on small islands in the Baltic Sea. In winter it forms small flocks, often found on mossy shores and rocky shores, searching for food under stones and mosses.
