| The Suceava Fortress, built at the end of the 14th century near the medieval city of Suceava, Romania, was the main residence of the lords of Moldavia for almost 200 years, today a national historical monument. The medieval architectural ensemble, consisting of a castle and defensive walls, was consolidated and completed within a vast project financed between 2011-2015, restoring its imposing appearance, which has become legendary, but also the subtle princely splendor of the past. |
