| Pictured is one section of building wall mural featuring black birds. It was painted by Frank Campagna, owner of the Kettle Art Gallery and known as the godfather of Deep Ellum. He`s painted wall murals there since 1989. Deep Ellum is a neighborhood composed largely of arts and entertainment venues near downtown in East Dallas, Texas. Deep Ellum developed in the late 19th century as a residential and commercial neighborhood. It is known for being a hotbed of graffiti. Also a large portion of the art and murals in the area are commissioned by local businesses. |
