| This is a 20mm Vulcan Cannon built by a division of General Electric Corporation. The concept of a multi-barrel, rapid firing machine gun came into use during the Civil War and post-war period. The Gatling Gun was hand-cranked. The Vulcan Cannon is machine driven, giving it a greater rate of fire. It fires a powerful 20mm round. |
