| This picturesque village is located in a central position in the valley, at the foot of the highlands of Gardenaccia and Piz La Ila. The Villa is known for the famous Gran Risa ski slope, on which Alpine Ski World Cup races are held: the slope leads to the center of the village. Every year in December, the resort therefore hosts the best international ski athletes who meet on the Gran Risa. In summer, however, the `Maratona dles Dolomites` cycling race starts from here. |
