| Lian Shan Shuang Lin Monastery `Twin Groves of the Lotus Mountain Temple` was founded in 1898 and was gazetted as a national monument in 1980. Modelled after Xi Chan Si, a temple in Fuzhou, Fujian province in China, the temple complex underwent a decade long restoration from 1991, with its bell and drum towers scheduled to open to the public by the second half of 2022. |
