Decoration of the monumental stairs in the Victor Emmanuel II National Monument , improperly called Altar of the Fatherland in Rome, Italy. The monument houses in its interior so called Shrine of the flags is a museum of the Italian Armed Forces housed in the interior of the Victor Emanuel Monument.
