| Pictured is a Monument to the fallen during the 1714 Siege of Barcelona at Fossar de les Moreres adjacent to the Basilica De Santa Maria Del Mar in the Ribera district of Barcelona. Under the red bricks of the Fossar de les Moreres is the graveyard of the fallen. The monument was designed by Alfons Viaplana and an eternal flame burns on the top, a symbol of permanent tribute. Tourists and locals are seen. |
