Willow Latin: Sálix is a genus of woody plants in the Willow family Salicaceae. In Russian, many other names are also used in relation to willow species-vetla, broom, vine, lozina, willow, and talnik[3]. Very common in the middle part of Russia plants. Most species of willows like humidity and settle in wet places, while relatively few species grow in dry places on slopes, Sands, etc. and in swamps. Willow is also found in forests, as a subspecies to other trees.
