| A view of Vajont Dam. On 9 October 1963 a massive landslide &#Toc Mountain&# fell into the reservoir. The water to overtop the dam in a giant wave that devastated Longarone, Casso and Erto villages. Died 1917 people. The dam was largely undamaged and still exists today. |
