| Suspended urban park on a disused portion of the former Lower West Side air line.
Disused, the line becomes an urban industrial wasteland invaded by wild grasses. But in 1999 Joshua David and Robert Hammond founded the `Friends of the High Line`, to save the structure of the demolition and reassign it to public ward equipment. |
