Urmitz is a small village at the Rhine near Koblenz and Mülheim-Kärlich. There is a remarkable bridge across the Rhine from Urmitz to Engers. The Kronprinz Wilhelm Brücke is a railroad bridge with two railways and a pedestrian lane. You can walk the railroad bridge on the side towards Engers, the up river direction, and cross the Rhine while there is no road bridge here. The ancient bridge has towers on both sides and shows the look of a more military age with anti-aircraft defense on these towers.
