A scene of a very typical and original alley of the popular and founding neighborhood of the city of Lisbon, capital of Portugal. Alfama is today a place suffering from the excesses of ruralism and was initially inhabited, from the 12th century onwards, by fishermen and artisanal sellers of fish caught on the Tagus River and, later, by sailors on the great voyages of the Portuguese discoveries. You can see the popular lamps and the usual clothes drying in the windows
