| Sassafras trees have a distinctive variety of leaf shapes on one specimen. Leaves can be entire, one lobed, or two lobed. The large, multi formed, five inch leaves are fragrant when crushed. They remain bright green throughout summer before turning shades of orange, pink, yellow, red, and even scarlet, purple during autumn. |
