Nara Park, Nara, Japan. Nara is the capital city of Nara prefecture, bordering Kyoto Prefecture. Eight temples, shrines and ruins in Nara remain, they collectively form `Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara`, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and some of them are situated in the Nara Park. Nara Park is also the paradise of thousands of deer, since it is believed by the local people that the ancestors of these deer are the messengers of gods. Now they still live in harmony with local people as well as the tourists.
