Goreme Open-Air Museum. It is the largest, most famous and most often visited the monastery complex of Cappadocia. In the first centuries of Christianity, believers fled here from Jerusalem and from other places to escape the persecution of the authorities. The museum has 10 churches and chapels 900-1200 years. They are built in the Byzantine style - with arches, columns and capitals, and decorated in a unique style of Cappadocia.
