| The Presidio Tunnel Tops Park and Playground is fourteen acre within the Presidio San Francisco, literally on top of the Presidio Parkway Tunnels, hence the name. The walkways offer some spectacular views, while the playground has some very unique play equipment for the kids of all ages. In addition to the normal chairs and benches to sit and relax on, there are also some sculptured benches made from cypress, where everyone is allowed to use their own imagination as to what the wave like shapes represent. And what is a park without plants and trees, but this one also has the beautiful yet invasive European Starling, Sturnus vulgaris. As enjoyed 6 January 2025. |
