Trittenheim is a village in Mosel valley near Trier and Schweich. At the village a bridge connects Eifel and Hunsrück. Mosel valley is a river valley from France through Luxembourg to Germany. The River is first called Moselle, later Mosel. Large parts of the valley are vineyards, sometimes very steep ones, called Steillagen. The area has two main business fields, wine and tourism
