Trelleborg is the southernmost town in Sweden. It is located in SkÃÂ¥ne County, 30 km south of Malmö and has about 30,000 inhabitants.
The port is the second largest in Sweden after Göteborg, with mainly ferries crossing the Baltic Sea. From the beginning of the 20th century, a train ferry to Sassnitz, Germany, was part of the Berlin-Stockholm express service. Today TT-Line, Stena Line and Unity Line operate connections to Travemünde Lübeck, Sassnitz, Rostock, Swinoujscie, Poland and Lithuanian Klaipeda
