| Trachselwald Castle, formerly belonging to the German Deutschritterorden (Order of German Knights), is located in the Emmental region of Switzerland. In the 16th century anabaptists, forerunners of the Mennonites and the Amish, were imprisoned, tortured and killed in the tower of this building. |
