Monument to Janusz Korczak in the Jewish Cemetery on Okopowa Street - Warsaw, Poland. Korczak was a Polish educator, children author, paediatrician and director of an orphanage in Warsaw. On 5 August 1942 he was sent with his orphans from the Warsaw Ghetto to Treblinka death camp and murdered by the Germans in the gas chamber.
