The Peter and Paul Fortress is a fortress in St. Petersburg, located on Hare Island, the historical core of the city. The official name is St. Petersburg, in 1914-1917 - the Petrograd fortress. The fortress was laid down on May 16 27, 1703 according to the joint plan of Peter I and the French engineer Lambert. |
