| The Real Monasterio de Guadalupe is a Gothic cloister, built in the 16th century. In 1993 it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Royal Monastery of Santa Maria de Guadalupe is located in the Extremadurian province of Caceres at a location of great beauty, overlooking a valley surrounded by high mountains. It is of exceptional interest as an ensemble of religious architecture spanning some six centuries. The Hospederia is situated in a part of this building. |
