They are the highest surviving terrestrial animals in the world.It inhabits tropical and subtropical savannas, shrubs, open acacia forests, arid and open savannas, and semi desert areas with sparse trees in Africa. It is a herbivorous animal that feeds mainly on leaves and twigs.
