Guisachan House near Tomich and Glen Affric is a ruin, however In 1868 a wavy-coated Retriever was mated with a Tweed Water Spaniel producing three pups that became the foundation of the Golden Retriever breed. Guisachan House was originally an impressive sporting estate but is now a ruin.
