This is a Winter picture of the Stephen Douglass` Tomb and Memorial against a blue sky, located in the Bronzeville neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. The Tomb and Memorial of Douglass known as the `Little Giant` was designed by Leonard W. Volk, has a 46 foot high marble column, the ten foot high bronze statue stands on top of the column, and was built in 1861. The structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 28, 1976. This picture was taken on January 1, 2016.
