Writer, novelist, native-Virginian Tom Wolfe and his wife, Sheila Wolfe, a former graphic designer, arrive on the red carpet for the Tribeca Film Festival Awards Show at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center of the Borough of Manhattan Community College on April 30, 2005. An octogenarian, Wolfe was a reporter with the New York Herald Tribune and later with Esquire magazine during which time his style was known as New Journalism. One of his major literary successes was Bonfire of the Vanities. The event at TPAC was at the 4th Annual Tribeca Film Festival. Wolfe died at 88 on May 14, 2018.
