| Pictured is the `Texas Woofus` statue in Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. It was originally created in 1936 for the Texas Centennial by sculptor Lawrence Tenney Stevens. The Woofus features the mane and neck of a horse, a turkey tail, pig body, duck wings, a sheepââ¬â¢s head, and a pair of Texas longhorns. It was damaged in 1941 and was taken away and mysteriously disappeared. A replacement was made by David Newton in 1998. It is part of the public art collection of the City of Dallas. |
