| This photo was taken at 10.30 AM on July 2014 on White lake, Mongolia. Known as Terkhin Tsagaan Nuur in Mongolian, this freshwater lake, formed by a lava flow from a volcanic eruption many millions of years ago, and the volcanic area which surrounds it is one of the highlights of the Arkhangai region. The lake is surrounded by extinct volcanoes and is a perfect spot for bird and wildlife watching. |
