Pictured is the Tarrant County Law Enforcement Memorial on the west lawn of the 1895 Tarrant County Courthouse in Forth Worth, Texas. It currently honors sixteen fallen Tarrant County peace officers. It was dedicated May 11th, 2021. It features a slab of pink granite, on which stands a ring-shaped memorial featuring a Texas star and a bronze Tarrant County seal. The design was by Janice Pledger, a county employee who won a contest between other county employees to submit the best design. Fort Worth architect Michael Bennett turned the design into the memorial.
