| Montreuil or Montreuil-sur-Mer is a sub-prefecture in the Pas-de-Calais department in northern France. It is located on the Canche river, not far from Ãâ°taples. The sea, however, is now some distance away, following silting up of the area over the years. A fortified town, occupying an elevated position with ramparts. Well worth a visit. |
