| The Wind Damper at the Taipei 101 Observation Deck is the second largest in the world, with a diameter of 5.5 meters and a total weight of 660 tons. The only two exposed wind dampers are for viewing. The steel plate is welded and suspended from 92F to 87F. It is one of the important structures for wind and earthquake resistance of the Taipei 101 building. |
