| In the Swiss Alps, the peaks of the Schreckhorn and Eiger rise above the low clouds, and beautiful wild swiss flowers bloom in the meadows below. This image was taken from the slopes of First, located above the town of Grindelwald, Switzerland. The views from the hiking trails of First offer spectacular scenes of high Alpine meadows surrounded by the magnificent Swiss Alps. First can be accessed by cable cars from Grindelwald below. You can have a cup of wonderful coffee at Bort before you take on the trails that take you to the lovely high alpine lake Bacalpsee, that is surrounded by the Waldspitz. While hiking on the trails of First, look around to see the peaks of the Shreckhorn, Eiger, Wetterhorn, Gross Fiescherhorn, Jungfrau and from certain angles you can see Kleine Scheidegg. |
