Miscanthus sinensis is a species of flowering plant in the grass family Poaceae,native to eastern Asia throughout most of China, Japan, Taiwan and Korea. It is an herbaceous perennial grass.Common names include Korean uksae,Chinese silver grass, Eulalia grass, maiden grass, zebra grass, Susuki grass, and porcupine grass.Kochia scopariaBassia scoparia,a Eurasian native annual shrub whose vernacular names are, appropriately, Mexican firebrush, fireball, or burningbush. Kochia leaves and stems turn from green to bright red in Autumn.
