For Japanese market, this car powered by EJ20 boxer turbo engine with capacity of 2000cc and produced 280 horsepower and for export market,this car powered by larger engine EJ25 with 2500cc but similar power. It sent the power to all wheels with six speed manual transmission. This car is the special edition of Subaru Impreza WRX STI, called Subaru Impreza WRX STI Spec C WR-limited to celebrate the Japanese round of world rally Championship in 2005.
