The sun is setting in September on the characteristic twin towers of the Church of St. Leodegar (Hofkirche), the most important church and a landmark in the city ofÃÂ Lucerne, Switzerland. It was built in parts from 1633 to 1639 on the foundation of the Roman basilica which had burnt in 1633. Lucerne is a city in Central Switzerland, in the German-speaking portion of the country and capital of the Canton of Lucerne.
