Brunnsviken is a lake on the municipal boundary between Solna and Stockholm. Around Brunnsviken there are a number of interesting buildings and facilities. In the middle of the 18th century, Gustav III had plans to create a coherent belt of English parks around the lake. Since 1994, Brunnsviken has been part of the Royal National Park.
