Euphorbia tithymaloides is a perennial succulent spurge native to tropical and subtropical regions of North and Central America.[3] As an upright shrub,[4] it is also known by the scientific name Pedilanthus tithymaloides. However, the genus Pedilanthus has been subsumed within the genus Euphorbia, and it is more accurately known by its new name (Euphorbia tithymaloides)
