| It is an annual herb of Compositae marigold. Its stems are erect, stout, with longitudinal stripe and branches spreading upward. Leaf pinnate; with a few glands along the edge of the leaf. Capitate inflorescence solitary; involucre cup shaped, apex toothed; yellow flower or yellow orange; tubular flower corolla yellow. Achene linear, base reduced, black or brown, short short hairs; hairs have 1-2 long awn and 2-3 short blunt scales. The flowering period is 7-9 months. |
