The Strategic Air Command (SAC) and Aerospace Museum is a museum focusing on aircraft and nuclear missiles of the United States Air Force during the Cold War. It is located near Ashland, Nebraska, near Offutt Air Force Base and Omaha. On display are iconic aircraft including the magnificent SR-71 Blackbird, nine bombers including a B-36J “Peacemaker”, B-17 ‘Flying Fortress’ and a B-1A “Lancer”, missiles, spacecraft such as the Apollo Command Space Module.
