Queen Anne was the ruling British monarch, from 1702 to 1714, when Saint Paul`s was first built in 1710. Her statue erected in front of the Cathedral was sculpted by Francis Bird in 1712. The weather beaten statue was subsequently replaced by a replica in 1886. Queen Anne was the last of the Stuart Dynasty. |
