The Estatua de Maimonides is an exquisite bronze statue located near the Synagogue in Juderia, the Jewish Quarter of Cordoba. The sculpture depicts Moses ben-Maimon, famously known as Maimonides â one of medieval ages most revered scholars. Born in Cordoba in 1135 during Al-Andalus Golden Age under Islamic rule, Moses Ben-Mainmon was a polymath who made significant contributions to medicine, law, philosophy and Jewish religious thought.
